Electronic Banking — INGClient system

INGClient is the electronic banking system offered by ING Commercial Banking to its clients. The system enables the Bank to provide remote banking services no matter where the client is actually located. This system operates in any Windows® environment, can be easily installed on the company’s Local Area Network (LAN) with simultaneous multi-users access to information and databases. WEBClient system is a WEB-based version of INGClient with the same functionality, allowing to work from different locations throughout the world via the internet.

Both systems allow our clients to initiate Ruble and foreign currency payment orders, send applications for conversion and mandatory sales of export proceeds, loan withdrawal forms, free-format messages to the bank’s staff, etc. In return, the customer receives updated balance information 5 times a day (9a.m., 11a.m., 1p.m., 3p.m. and 5p.m. Moscow time) for all current accounts, as well as the current status of payment instructions previously submitted to the Bank («accepted», «in process», «executed», etc.). Several customized databases are automatically supported by the system, which enables clients to simplify the process of payment instruction initiation. Among the most actively used databases are Ordering Parties and Payment Details database. At the same time, the Bank automatically supports and upgrades BIC (Bank Identification Code) and Central Bank Rates databases. This enables our clients to automatically control the correctness of the beneficiary banking details, as well as to be promptly informed about Central Bank rates.

INGClient and WEBClient systems use encryption software that meets strict information security requirements. This software is certified by Russian Federal authorities and allows clients to sign their instructions with digital signatures.

Both systems have different access levels set up by the Bank according to the client’s request («Only balance viewing», «Payment Order Creation», etc.).

The systems have friendly bi-lingual (Russian and English) interfaces and can be easily adjusted to each user’s needs.

Payroll Solution — International Plastic Cards

visa_classicING Commercial Banking decided to start its local retail banking operations with the issuance of international plastic cards. ING Commercial Banknig in Russia has been accepted as a Principal Member by VISA International and EUROPAY International.

In 1998 ING Commercial Banking started issuing local cash cards aiming to assist clients with their payroll distribution. The issuance of cash cards was combined with the installation of ATMs in clients’ premises for cash withdrawals.

Early 2001, ING Commercial Banking started issuing a full range of VISA products, from VISA Electron up to VISA Gold cards. In September 2001 ING Commercial Banking started to issue VISA Business cards in RUB and hard currencies for its resident and non-resident corporate clients. While later in 2003 EUROPAY cards will also be issued.

Based on international and local plastic cards, we offer to our clients several payroll solutions:

  • Payroll solution with USD plastic cards.
  • Payroll solution with RUR local cash card.
  • Combined payroll solution using international and local plastic cards.

Scheme I is the most popular scheme for salary disbursements. Under this scheme companies’ employees benefit from the possibility of keeping funds in USD and immediate access to the accounts via the ATM. Both — VISA Electron and VISA Classic cards — can be used for this scheme.

Scheme II is used for salary distribution to the employees, which prefer to keep their funds in RUR. Local cash card is used in this case.

Scheme III is a combination of previous two schemes and can perfectly meet the requirements of each company with different level of employee salaries. Similar to scheme I, VISA Electron or VISA Classic cards can be used for salary distribution.

Regardless which scheme choosen, the company will enjoy the possibility of automated salary distribution and the possibility of RUR and USD cash withdrawals. At the same time, this functionality can also be used for other cash disbursements to the employees such as advance payments, bonuses, travel expenses, etc.
