Mustafinova Yulia
Analyst Equity Research
I graduated from MGIMO University with a Bachelor degree in International Economy and Bocconi University, Italy with a Master of Science Degree in Economics. I always wanted to work for a leading international financial institution and in 2007 I joined ING in Russia as a Junior Equity Research Analyst. I enjoyed the interview with my future colleagues and it was the main factor that helped to make my final decision and start working for ING.
As an Equity Research Analyst, I have a number of companies I’m following and my task is to be aware of all events, news and changes that may potentially affect company value and its share price. One of the key responsibilities is to communicate all views, ideas and opinions to clients. What I like the most at my job is that I can apply a very broad set of skills and knowledge obtained in universities.
Right now I am learning a lot, it’s an on-job-training that helps me to improve both personal and technical skills, grow professionally, thanks to my colleagues whom I can always ask for advice and get support if I need it.
My career advice would be – It's very important to understand what is yours. Once you realize you are in the right place and doing things you enjoy then it’s very easy to make the most of it.
